I am from America, where, unfortunately there are many anti communists here. I am struggling to break free from distractions of my every day lives to learn about communism. T.V. and video games are hard to break free from. If anybody has experience breaking free from distractions I would like to hear your story, and advices.

It will help to gather friends or colleagues with similar political inclinations and start a study-circle for Marxism. This forum can serve as a place for your theoretical discussions. It will be easier to break free from distractions if you work as a group instead of trying alone.

Just came back from several days of computer being broken. It will be hard for me to start a study group in real life since I am deaf and therefore have difficulty communicating to people in real life.

Welcome back. Hardships can be overcome. Many communists who led guerrilla wars high up in the mountains suffered from asthma.
